BRONZE AGE BRONZE PENDANT WITH SPIRALS. Ca. 900 - 700 BC. A spectacle pendant formed from a single bronze rod, featuring two symmetrical, tightly coiled circular elements connected by a central slightly flattened bar. Each spiral consists of a continuous strip of metal wound in a uniform pattern towards the centre. The central bar tapers slightly towards the top. Two curved extensions emerge from the lower section of the bar, arching outward and looping back towards the base of the spirals. Size: 90mm x 50mm; Weight: 55g Provenance: Property of an Oxfordshire art professional; previously in an old British collection, formed in the 1980s on the UK / International art markets.
