BRONZE AGE BRONZE VOTIVE HORSE WITH RAISED SNAKES Ca. 1500 - 900 BC. A bronze votive horse standing on four slender legs, the elongated body detailed with harness and trappings along the flanks. Two stylised snakes with arched bodies and pointed heads emerge from the saddle, the head of the horse slightly raised with the muzzle projecting forward and the mane indicated by a raised line along the neck.
