BRONZE AGE / EARLY GREEK DAGGER WITH BIFURCATED BIRD-HEAD POMMEL Ca. 600 - 400 BC. A bronze dagger with an elongated blade tapering to a sharp point and set above a narrow, cylindrical grip with a broad, flaring guard with upturned terminals extending along the base of the blade. The hilt terminates in a bifurcated pommel cast in the form of two opposing bird heads with arched necks, marked eyes, and short, curved beaks.
