BRONZE AGE / EARLY GREEK PERIOD BRONZE DAGGER.
Ca. 1100 - 800 BC
A bronze dagger with a double-edged blade of elongated triangular form, both faces with a series of parallel fullers running from the base almost to the point, a flat guard, and a straight recessed hilt for inlay ending in a thin disc-shaped pommel.
Size: 475mm x 70mm; Weight: 560g.
Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M. Ebnother collection, Switzerland,1980s.
