BRONZE AGE / EARLY GREEK PERIOD BRONZE DAGGER.
Ca. 1100 - 800 BC
A bronze dagger with a long, leaf-shaped blade tapering to a sharp point, both faces with a broad central fuller running from the rounded shoulders almost to the tip. The grip with moulded collars and a large flattened disc pommel.
Size: 560mm x 70mm; Weight: 610g.
Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M. Ebnother collection, Switzerland,1980s.
