Lot no. 352
Bronze Grizzly Bear Hunting Fish River, marble stand, Miguel Fernando Lopez (Milo). With his naturalistic bronze sculpture of a brown bear and salmon, the artist Milo captures a piece of Canadian wilderness. The motif shows an authentically realised grizzly bear that carries a fish in its mouth. The solid bronze figurine is placed on a discreet, dark marble base and bears the signature of the artist. Milo succeeds in capturing a realistic snapshot and depicting it in a sculpture, which becomes apparent in this dynamic portrait of the bear. Miguel Fernando López (Milo) is a Portuguese Postwar & Contemporary sculptor who was born in 1955. Excellent condition. Height 13 cm. Length of marble stand 20 cm.
