TROLLEY in pewter marquetry and blackened wood, the front decorated with foliage scrolls opening into two leaves simulating drawers and a drawer in the lower part, the uprights in pilasters on a tortoiseshell background. Black marble top. Louis XIV style, late 19th century 103 x 98 x 46 cm (veneer missing and detached). This is an old converted cabinet whose marquetry is reminiscent of cabinets that have come up for auction (Ader, 29 June 2021, lot 102; Artcurial, 23 June 2009, lot 42; Sothebys 8 April 2013 lot 41).
