Ornithological section presented alone (volumes 28 to 45), with 113 plates engraved by Pillement fils in pleasant contemporary colours. This charming in-12 edition of the Histoire naturelle was published in the German town of Zweibrücken; complete, it comprises 54 volumes published between 1785 and 1791. A very fine copy.
