BYZANTINE BRONZE OIL LAMP WITH CROSS-SHAPED HANDLE Ca. AD 400 - 600. A bronze oil lamp with an ovoid body and gently sloping shoulders, a raised tubular nozzle, and a circular filling hole capped by a large hinged shell lid. A cross-shaped finial adorns the handle.
