BYZANTINE LEAD SEAL WITH SAINT GEORGE. Ca. AD 1000 - 1100. A lead seal with the standing figure of Saint George on the obverse. He is depicted frontally, holding a spear in his right hand and resting a shield against the ground with his left. Small sigla to the right of the figure. The reverse bears a five-line inscription in raised lettering, enclosed within a raised border.
