BYZANTINE SILVER BRACELET WITH HEMISPHERES.
Ca. AD 1100 - 1200.
A silver bracelet with the outer surface featuring a repeating pattern of raised hemispherical bosses set within square panels. Each central boss is enclosed in a border of twisted wire, which forms loops at the corners. Smaller bosses are positioned above and below the central boss, filling the spaces between the wire loops.
