BYZANTINE TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP WITH CHI-RHO
Ca. AD 300 - 500. A terracotta oil lamp with a rounded body and a sunken discus containing two filling holes flanking a central Chi-Rho, a Christian symbol composed of the Greek letters 'Χ' and 'Ρ' for Christ. The perimeter features a hatched design resembling a branch. The base is outlined by a ridge, which extends towards the handle, with two concentric circles located at its centre.
