C. 1950 Talbot Lago Baby T15 LB cabriolet Guilloré No reserve Sans carte grise Châssis n° 120168 - Ex Collection Baillon ! - Technique moteur intéressante - Marque de luxe - Sans réserve Roger et Jacques Baillon appréciaient les Talbot et leur collection en comportait plusieurs, dont cette Lago Baby carrossée en cabriolet par Guilloré. Derrière son aspect ancien, cette voiture est relativement complète aucun instrument de tableau de bord ne manque. Cette Baby T15 est équipée du quatre-cylindres typique de Talbot, avec ses deux arbres à cames latéraux placé haut dans le bloc et faisant penser à des ACT, et ses chambres de combustion hémisphériques. Pour cette Baby, la cylindrée est de 2,7 litres. A l'intérieur de la voiture, la sellerie est d'origine est l'on remarque à côté du beau volant à quatre branches la commande de la boîte présélective Wilson caractéristique de ces modèles; tous les boutons et interrupteurs semblent complets. A l'extérieur, certaines parties basses sont attaquées par la corrosion et il est possible de déchiffrer une immatriculation ancienne, parisienne, 3425 LK 75. Elle fut vendue à notre collectionneur belge, lors de la fameuse vente Baillon, qui s'est déroulée lors du salon Rétromobile 2015 et qui est restée dans toutes les mémoires. Emu par l'histoire de cette collection, il cherchait un cabriolet 4 places et fut séduit par cette voiture d'une marque particulièrement prestigieuse. Il a depuis conservé la voiture, dans son émouvant état d'origine. Il appartiendra au nouveau propriétaire de la conserver telle une œuvre d'art, ou de se lancer dans un formidable projet de restauration afin qu'elle redevienne une sculpture animée. Behind its apperance, this car is relatively complete and no instruments are missing from the dashboard. This Baby T15 is powered by the typical four-cylinder Talbot engine, with two lateral camshafts positioned high on the block (reminiscent of OHCs), and hemispherical combustion chambers. For the Baby, the capacity is 2.7-liters. The upholstery is original and next to the beautiful four-spoke steering wheel we notice the controls of the Wilson pre-selector gearbox. All buttons and switches seem to be complete. Some lower portions of the body have corroded and it is possible to decipher its old Parisian registration number: 3425 LK 75. It was sold to our Belgian collector, during the famous Baillon sale, which took place during the Rétromobile 2015 show and which remained in all memories. Moved by the history of this collection, he was looking for a 4-seater cabriolet and was seduced by this car of a particularly prestigious make. He has since kept the car in its moving original condition.
