TABLE CABINET In blackened wood and bone inlay, opening with two marquetry leaves. They reveal seven drawers, one of which is wide at the bottom. The central door of the tabernacle is adorned with the Muse Caliope, the muse of epic poetry and heroic song in Greek mythology, recognisable with a laurel wreath, a feather and a book. Bronze fittings and carrying handles. The tabernacle is missing a drawer. Italy, 17th century H: 41 x 53 x 26 cm
