An oval First World War commemorative frame featuring a print in shades of blue depicting two soldiers and the main sectors of the front, bearing a handwritten inscription addressed to Claude Villeneuve, a soldier in the 98th Infantry Regiment, born in 1902, along with three bronze decorations with their ribbons, the Combatant’s Cross, the Inter-Allied Victory Medal and the 1914–1918 War Commemorative Medal, mounted under glass in a wooden frame painted to imitate a magnifying glass (dimensions 36.5 x 46.5 cm – oxidation, faded ribbons, stains and foxing, damage and losses to the frame, torn backing paper on the reverse, as is)
