On a burnished blank (PROOF) in Gold, unsigned but with a ridged edge. Probably a later strike than the original corner with FACONNET signature. Barely cleaned. Minor stains. Golden patina. Superb condition.
After the sculptor mademoiselle Marie-Anne Eugénie Faconnet, of French origin, pupil of J. Lequien and presented at the Salon of Paris in 1870 (not signed on this corner)
