Dromedary pack-saddle from the late 18th - early 19th century
With two curved arms and three arches in varnished wood, decorated with chased and engraved wrought iron and brass.
The front hoop has a brass-covered pommel.

This saddle (known as a bât) was used by the dromedary regiment set up by Bonaparte during the Egyptian campaign.
