Devil’s walking stick
Made of burl wood, timber and horn. The carved knob is adorned with the serpent from Genesis, biting into the forbidden fruit and perched upon the head of the horned Devil. A toad is being strangled by the serpent’s tail. A large leaf bears the initials ‘LS’ on the pages of an open book. The shaft is simply finished in smooth wood, ending in a horn foot.
