Lot no. 621
Walking stick
Made of carved and engraved wood. The pommel is carved in the shape of a woman’s bust, nude with her hair loose. This is followed by a smooth section decorated with a coiled snake, then a moustachioed figure in a suit, standing on the bust of a man, who in turn stands on an architectural base with four niches, each containing a stylised figure, followed by a priest in a cassock. The walking stick is finished with an ornate ferrule.
