German Mantel M1915 of the Imperial Navy. Beautiful 1915 model coat in feldgrau cloth with green collar. Lengthwise, in good condition, with a few minimal moth holes, mainly on the bottom of the coat. Lining in strong grey mottled fabric and pockets made of floral patterned upholstery type fabric. A T-shaped ink stamp on the back near the collar, marked BAW for Bekleidungs Amt Wilhemshaven, date difficult to read but most likely 1918. The collar has its hooks and tabs. The buttons are missing, a set of buttons is attached to complete it. A beautiful Mantel! Imperial German Navy Greatcoat M1915 (Mantel) Fine Model 1915 field-grey wool coat with dark green collar. Long cut, in good condition with a few minor, barely visible moth holes mainly near the bottom. Grey mottled lining and floral-patterned pocket linings typical of naval tailoring. Ink "T" stamp near the collar for "BAW" (Bekleidungsamt Wilhelmshaven), probably dated 1918. Collar hooks and closing tabs present. Buttons missing but accompanied by a replacement set. A beautiful coat.
