Second edition of this famous treatise, illustrated with a charming lithographed frontispiece and 3 engraved plates. The first edition was published a year earlier. This manual contains a large number of recipes as well as a treatise on meat dissections, another on how to preserve foodstuffs and a final one on wines. Vicaire does not cite the 1823 edition.
