A violin-shaped wall lamp and its lamp base in brown tortoiseshell and brass marquetry. The circular multi-piece dial has twelve white enamelled plates with blue Roman numerals. The movement signed in cursive letters "De Lorme A Paris" and housed in a glass case. Richly decorated with ormolu ornamentation, including a fame motif, falls with fauna heads and floral foliage, and an allegory of music.
