First edition of this indispensable bibliography of first editions and illustrated books of the 19th century, with numerous black and colour reproductions.
A very fine copy from Suzanne Courtois, with bookplate, including a signed autograph letter from Léopold Carteret to this "true Woman Bibliophile... worthy of being cited among the most sincere Women Bibliophiles", and a letter from the same to the collector, addressed to Le Bourgailh, in Gironde.
