PETIT, in rosewood veneer, mahogany, violet wood, amaranth and rich marquetry of an antique scene, attributes of music and geography, bouquets of flowers and knotted ribbons, ormolu and chased ornamentation of flowers and acanthus leaves. The lower part (added) opens with two leaves on the sides, the upper part is flanked by six compartments and topped by a gilt bronze clock with an enamelled dial signed Lepaute Horloger du Roi, topped by a winged victory, 237x111x50 cmNicolas Petit (1732-1791), awarded the title of Master in 1761.
