CASANIS - Ceramic pitcher of Corsican pastis Very good condition. Moor's head shape, circa 1960, black lettering in relief on both sides. Casanis pastis was created in 1925 by Emmanuel Casabianca in Bastia, Corsica, who then decided to cross the Mediterranean and settle in Marseille, where he added aniseed to his family name to form Casanis.
