Prussian troop helmet model 1895. Black varnished boiled leather shell, all brass fittings. Prussian eagle plate. Unusual but old bridge welds. Markings under the nape of the neck, difficult to read, date 1910 and receipt probably BA IV, size 55. Black leather wolf tooth cap. Helmet worn, patinated, wear from use. Prussian Enlisted Man's Pickelhaube, Model 1895 Black lacquered boiled leather shell with brass fittings. Prussian eagle front plate with old-style soldered lugs. Faint markings under the rear visor, possibly dated 1910, with probable BA IV depot stamp. Size 55. Leather liner with tongue-shaped pads. Service wear and patina.
