Under the nape of the neck, date 1916, receipt stamp 3BFAR50 (3rd Battery Feld Artilerie Regiment Nr 50). Stamps covered with white paint indicating the helmet's passage through a repair workshop at the time, which explains the dismounted troop configuration cohabiting with the FAR marking. The roundels and chinstrap are missing. A natural helmet with its wartime history. Wear from use, patina. Overstamped white paint markings suggesting workshop repair during wartime, explaining mixed infantry/artillery configuration. Missing cockades and chinstrap.
