Adrian helmet with impacts and pipe belonging to Second Lieutenant Paul Delsarte of the 4th Engineers who fell at Verdun. A moving Adrian Engineer helmet belonging to Second Lieutenant Paul Jean Baptiste Delsarte, an officer in the 4th Engineers, who fell at Verdun on 7 June 1916. His helmet received a large non-through impact on the upper left side, damaging the crest. Another fatal shrapnel hit the officer in the side. Beautiful horizon blue paintwork. Under the visor, the handwritten capital letter D. 1st type headdress with dark blue, almost black, cloth headband. Chinstrap present, torn off by impact. With its wooden pipe bowl, engraved with the 4th Genie, without tube. Wear from use, patina. Under the visor, a hand-painted calligraphic "D." First-type liner with dark blue cloth band, almost black. Original chinstrap torn by the shock. Accompanied by his wooden pipe bowl, carved "4e Génie," without stem. Signs of use, patina.
