Wolfs tooth headpiece with manufacturer's cold marking, except for a reading error by Helbronner, tears and missing parts. Stamped brass faceplate with pomegranate motif. Brass crest with Medusa head. Rain screen screw missing. Black horsehair mane with braid. Festone eyecups, closed by black patent leather straps and fixed to the helmet by movable rosettes with keys. The visor is lined with tobacco-colored leather and the neck lining is cream. The wolf-tooth leather liner bears a stamped makers mark, possibly Helbronner though the reading is uncertain, with some tears and missing parts. The frontal plate is embossed brass with a grenade motif. Brass crest with a Medusa head. One rain-guard screw is missing. Black horsehair mane with braid. Scalloped brass scale chinstraps fastened with black lacquered leather straps attached to the helmet via mobile rosettes with keys. Shows wear and patina.
