Dragoon helmet model 1858 troop. Bomb, crest with gadroons, rain screen in the imitation of a plait, leather-lined chinstrap with rings and brass bosses. Leopard-style headband. Black horsehair marmoset hood and braided mane. Leather inner headpiece (wear). With a mismatched olive carrot plume in green wool. Bomb marking "924 9D (9e Dragons) 1871".
