Prussian Guard artillery officer's helmet, model 1895. Patent leather shell. Ball with beaded base and three attachment stars (one missing). Brass front and rear chinstraps with leather-lined scales (traces of gilding). Gilt brass plate with Prussian eagle, decorated with silver star bearing enamelled eagle medallion and openwork legend "SUUM CUIQUE". Reich and Prussian officer's cockades.
