Gold braid chinstrap held in place by two smooth gold buttons. Headpiece bearing a francisque surrounded by oak leaves, unstitched at one end. Leather visor and black fine leather band. Black sateen lining and beige leather headband sewn on half. Size 54. Deputy prefect cap as regulated in 1941, made of dark blue wool. Black band with gold bullion embroidery and a braid of sequins across the upper part. Gold braid chinstrap secured with two smooth gold buttons. The front insignia consists of a francisque framed by oak leaves, partially detached. Leather visor and black leather edge. Black satinette lining with a beige leather sweatband, half of which is detached. Size 54.
