Belt of great outfit, specific to the Personal Guard of the Marechal Petain, leather manufacture and white mohair, with its plate of specific belt, Grenade carrying the letters EF, marking of manufacturer on 3 lines on the back hook A.Augis 28 Barthelemy Lyon. Complete with sabre line. The buckle has small traces of oxidation. In its original length, width 5,2cm. This model of mohair belt was intended for officers, warrant officers and chief warrant officers. Other personnel wore simple white leather belts. Dress belt of Marshal Petain's Personal Guard. Formal belt specifically for officers and adjutants of the Marshal's Personal Guard. Made of white mohair and leather with a special buckle bearing a flaming grenade marked EF. Manufacturer's mark appears in three lines on the back hook A. Augis 28 Barthelemy Lyon. Complete with sword suspension strap. The metalwork shows light oxidation, and the belt has some minor usage stains. Full original length, width 5.2 cm. Lower-ranked personnel wore belts in plain white leather.
