Cut and sewn 24.5 cm from the buckle, invisible when mounted with a cartridge belt on a dummy. Initial adjustment holes reinforced with eyelets, then several additional holes. Oval receipt stamp dated 1916 and control stamp. Two brown canvas cartridge belts with leather closing tabs, the closing nipples, both original, are different. On the back a piece of canvas forming a belt loop. A third green canvas cartridge belt of the same construction. These cartridge belts have no suspension ring, so were originally intended for training purposes, but could be used at the front. Good condition. French Ersatz Canvas Belt and Cartridge Pouches Khaki canvas belt, 4.6 cm wide, with single-prong iron buckle. Cut and re-stitched 24.5 cm from the buckle, invisible when displayed with a pouch. Original adjustment holes reinforced with eyelets, plus several added later. Oval acceptance and inspection stamps dated 1916. Two brown canvas pouches with leather closure tabs, both with original but non-matching studs. Rear belt loops made of canvas. A third pouch in green canvas of identical construction. These pouches lack suspension rings, intended initially for training but usable in the field. Good condition.
