CELTIC BRONZE BRACELET WITH LION-SHAPED FINIALS. Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A bronze bracelet with a flat, penannular band of uniform width, featuring lion-shaped finials at each end. The outer surface is decorated with a series of evenly spaced punched dots arranged in a chevron pattern, with a horizontal groove running around the centre of the body. The midsection of the bracelet features a rectangular panel defined by vertical lines, containing a central dot surrounded by several smaller dots, a design mirrored on each lion head.
