CELTIC BRONZE DRAGON HEAD SPOUT
Ca. 500 BC.
A cast bronze finial of a rhyton in the form of a stylised dragon’s head with an elongated, pierced snout. The eyes are almond-shaped and deeply recessed, framed by sweeping ridges that curve back along the sides of the head. Mounted on a modern stand.
