These nineteen poems have appeared in various magazines, often foreign, and exhibition catalogues; three are unpublished. Portrait and Construction evoke the painters Marc Chagall and Fernand Léger respectively. One of the 10 first copies reprinted on old japon à la forme (n°9), the only one with the 40 hollandes containing a second portrait of the author by Modigliani.
