Book enriched with numerous documents: a set of 32 original watercolours on various papers, 21 of which signed by Chadel in pencil, bound in the text, three signed handwritten letters, all decorated with original watercolours by Jules Chadel, a sheet of the book's model with the handwritten text and comments on the positioning of the woodcut illustrations, a silk print of the woodcut p.99 mounted on a plate, 2 plates of the woodcuts used for the endpapers before the colour, signed and numbered 3/10, La Fontaine's menu of 31 January 1928 as well as a summary of the lots annexed to the publication and finally the endpapers as described above.
