CHALCIDIAN BRONZE CRESTED HELMET. Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A Chalcidian bronze helmet with a dome shape that is elongated toward the top and features a crest made of perforated battlements. The front section is designed to fit over the eyes and has a central nasal piece that is attached with rivets. Additionally, the band near the lower edge of the helmet is slightly convex.
