Long cashmere shawl, c. 1860, featuring a sinuous black ground bordered by the ends of large lanceolate fleurons, framed by pairs of long cashmere palm motifs filling the slopes. Polychrome wool weave with a cut-work pattern; some of the decorative outlines are highlighted with a white border (good condition), 335 x 160 cm.
