First edition of this humorous album, complete with illustrated title, epigraph and 24 lithographed plates featuring 67 vignettes by Cham, alias Amédée de Noé (1818-1879). A precious copy with the plates on chine collé captioned in Cham's hand. It contains the title and epigraph, the 25 plates of the suite (including the title) with autograph captions and numbering, and a 25th plate without caption. Philippon Collection, February 1931.
