CHANDELIER in champlevé enamel on copper, the large conical spike rising from the middle of a hexagonal base with six cut sides champlevé enamel and gilding. At the base of each side is a half-pastille cut out of the copper and gilded. Three enamelled enamelled heraldic motifs are repeated each twice on the base: Gules (red) a crown Or surmounted in chief of two fleurons and in base two scrolls Or / Or three fess Vert (green), a pale Argent (white) / Azure (blue) a fleur-de-lys in full bloom Or. Limoges, late 13th century.
