A black resin-coated wooden Chaouabti, like the hundreds found in the tomb of Sety I by Giovanni Battista Belzoni on 16 October 1817 and since dispersed around the world. This one is an epigraph, as are seven of the examples in the Vatican Museum. Egypt, style (?) of the 19th dynasty. H. 13 cm. Cracked feet. Former Itzvart collection.
