Charles, Duke of Orleans and Valois, Count of Blois and Beaumont and Lord of Coucy, orders his treasurer to pay to his "good soul and feal escutcheon and chamberlain Robert de Laire the sum of thirty gold escuzes for having and buying for him in our town of Blois three tails of wine to bring to his hostel at La Motte sur Beuvron and in recompense for the fact that on several occasions we have been in his hostiels in the said country and drunk his wine, of which he has not wanted us to count anything"...
