Two episodes from the Battle of Waterloo. - Charge of the Scots Greys and Life Guards, through the guns of the English front. - General Ponsonby trying to rejoin his brigade during the battle. Pair of ink and watercolour drawings, captioned in English on the mats. One is dated "1818". 25 x 29.5 cm and 21 x 28 cm. Framed under glass. B.E. Biography : Sir Charles Turner WARREN, famous English engraver, he produced a series of aquatints on the Battle of Waterloo. Related works: There are several watercolours by Warren in the Brown Collection (Rhode Island), all on the Battle of Waterloo.
