China, Canton, 19th c Round dish in Famille Rose enamelled porcelain decorated with six lobed medallions containing alternating palace scenes (ladies and scholars) and groups of flowers, fruit, birds and insects, as well as a small round medallion of flowers and birds in the centre, all surrounded by floral scrolls and butterflies on a gilded background, the reverse undecorated.
