CHINA, INDIA COMPANY, circa 1800, Famille Rose enamelled porcelain punch bowl with "mandarin" decoration consisting of four scenes in lobed medallions (two large) of ladies and mandarins in palaces and gardens, and eight small lobed medallions with iron-red landscape decoration, all on a geometric, iron-red and gold background, and inside a scene of ladies and children in a poly-lobed cartouche, a geometric frieze under the lip, later (late 19th century) gilt bronze footed mounting, acanthus leaf handles.
