CHINA, INDIA COMPANY, 18th CENTURY A poly-lobed porcelain plate, decorated in grisaille with gold and sanguine highlights, with a double coat of arms in a central medallion, surmounted by a crown held by two cherubs, the wing decorated with peacocks among stylised motifs. D. 22.8 cm. (Small chips around the rim, slight wear to the gilding, enamel wear or firing defects on the reverse). Expert : Cabinet Ansas, Papillon et de Léry.
