A set of painted enamels on copper, known as Canton enamels, consisting of a perfume burner, a box and a small four-lobed vase decorated with lotus scrolls on a cobalt blue background.

Three-piece services like this appeared in China no later than the 13th century and included censers for burning small pieces of incense over charcoal. The box contained incense woods or balls, and the bottle contained a pair of chopsticks and a spatula for handling the ingredients.
