A pair of flared-neck baluster vases in polychrome enamelled porcelain decorated on the body with round medallions of stylised shou characters surrounded by friezes of flowers on a dark blue ground, the shoulder decorated with friezes of lingzhi in relief, the neck and heel decorated in famille rose style polychrome enamels with lotuses in their foliage on a pink ground and sgraffiatto. Two handles in the shape of elephant heads. On the reverse, the apocryphal mark of Qianlong (restorations, chips and cracks on the neck). 19th century. Height: 38 cm.
